First Korean Blog Entry!

Greetings from "The Land Of Morning Calm"!

OK so this isn't a proper entry, when I get round to doing that it will be a bloody epic, stuffed to the gills with absolute madness. We are still trying to get the internet going in the apartment, but feck knows when that will be as we have know started teaching the little hooligans, and still have to go to Japan for the Visas. In the meantime there are dozens of these "PC Bangs" nearby so I might head back down at some point.

For now here is a breakdown of life so far.....

No tickets at airport, korean squid on plane, spewing all over korea, driver gets lost, car gets stuck in quicksand, more spewing, korean lack of logic, crazy director, fish soup, sick again, etc etc. All in all it is going great though, nice apartments, nice school, and the amazing streets of neon just as you would expect. But it's miles more of a culture shock than you would imagine, even when you feel mentally prepared, and trying to buy bloody pillows in a huge department store can feel very weird. Luckily we bumped into an Irish/Polish couple and got smashed so it's all good. I'll do a proper entry soon when I can, but with it being the first day of school I am totally knackered and need bed. Hope there's something decent on the American Forces Network tonight or it will be Teletubbies dubbed in Korean. Which could be cool actually if we buy more Soju............
